Autotrol 256 Bypass Valve 1040769 + screws and gaskets

Bypass Valve 256 for the Autotrol 255 Series. Robust Autotrol 256 bypass valve. The 256 bypass allows the control valve to be isolated from the water flow while still supplying water to the house. This is helpful for routine valve maintenance. Every 255 valve is available with the 256 bypass valve option. The distance between the "dead center" of each connection is 3 inches.

The drain connection is 1/2" NPT (male pipe thread) and fittings for this connection should be available at your local hardware store. Commonly used with the Autotrol 1/2" male threaded bypass 256 drain connection. This new 256 bypass is also compatible with the older Autotrol 155 valves. The bypass valve comes with new gaskets (O-rings) (the 3 between the bypass and the valve/tank adapter) and 4 bolts with nuts. The bypass valve fits all Autotrol Logix 255 softener control valves with a bypass kit.
