The Hydra water filter housing features a unique self-cleaning system, which uses a backflow to remove sediment from the filter cartridge, allowing it to be rinsed clean. This cleaning process can be easily performed by anyone. The rinsing process can be performed manually by opening the ball valve on the bottom of the filter or automatically using the special automatic backwash filter kit . The efficiency of the process is ensured by the drainage system, which prevents the backflow of the expelled water.

Self-Cleaning System

The Self-Cleaning System Hydra water filter is compatible with the following three SX (DOE) filter cartridges: RAH (stainless steel mesh), RLH (polyester mesh), and RSH (pleated PP mesh). These filter cartridges have a filtration rating of 90µm or 50µm. The Hydra water filter housings are equipped with IN/OUT connections and are available in connection sizes of 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", and 1 1/2" with brass or plastic BSP threads , or with 3/4", 1", and 1/2" NPT plastic threads . The recommended capacity ranges from 3000 to 10000 liters/hour . The Hydra M model is also available with two pressure gauges and a wide range of accessories and spare parts. The self-cleaning Hydra water filters are certified by leading international bodies that attest to their quality and performance according to current standards.
