EC3 measuring device including case HM - conductivity measuring device
With this EC3 meter, you can measure conductivity (EC = Electrical Conductivity). It measures the general level of water purity. Measure your tap water, mineral water, reverse osmosis water, rainwater, aquarium water, etc. The EC3 meter is a water tester or conductivity meter. Simply hold it briefly in a glass of water or directly in the water, for example, in an aquarium. It shows you the exact conductivity in µS ( microsiemens ) on an LED display. Reverse osmosis water or pure water has an optimal value of approximately 10-30 µS.
As soon as the reading exceeds 120 µS, the filter in your reverse osmosis system should be replaced. For comparison: Normal tap water has a µS reading of approximately 400–1000 µS or more. The lower the reading, the purer the water. Test your tap water, aquarium water, or drinking water, and choose one of our reverse osmosis systems!
