Description

Descaling + Disinfection, Ropot Quick Change Filter – Empty Filter. For hygienic cleaning of your countertop system. Suitable for Ropot, Elegance, and similar systems.

🧴 Application – How it works
For disinfection:
• Activate knick'n'clean® aqua, after about 1 hour "yellow", then add to the fresh water tank
• Run at least 5 cycles
• Rinse thoroughly with fresh water at least 7 times

For descaling:
• Run citric acid solution through the system
• Stop several times to extend the exposure time (possibly up to 48 hours in case of heavy calcification)
• Repeat until no limescale residue is visible
• Rinse with tap water at least 7 times

📌 Note: A chlorine-like smell may occur during disinfection – please ventilate well!

⚙️ Step-by-step instructions
1. Remove all regular filter inserts and membranes
2. Insert the four empty filters
3. Fill the fresh water tank with water + descaler / disinfectant
4. Start the device – empty the jug and put it back into the tank
5. Repeat at least 5 cycles
6. Dispose of water – fill tank with fresh water
7. Rinse with fresh water at least 7 times
8. After rinsing, remove the empty filter and reinsert the original filter
