    JG Sediment Filter 10" 5µm - Water Filter

    The JG sediment filter with a filter mesh of 5µm or 1µm is suitable as a prefilter for water filters and reverse osmosis systems. This JG sediment filter is available in melt-blown quality with high mechanical strength as the filter medium, without an inner core or end caps. The JG sediment filter is made of a smooth-surface polypropylene nonwoven (PP).

    Sediment filters are water filter cartridges for deep filtration of fine and very fine particles. Sediment filters made of a polypropylene fleece reliably capture and remove the finest sediment and particles from the water, providing maximum sediment retention capacity. The polypropylene filter medium guarantees a high degree of chemical compatibility, making JG sediment filters suitable for all technical applications and for domestic use.

    Filtration

    • The JG sediment filter removes the finest particles down to 5µm, as well as sand, silt, limescale, rust, and organic particles. It offers excellent filtration with low pressure drop and is resistant to chemicals and microbial growth.

    Application

    • as a pre-filter for water filters and reverse osmosis systems
    • Fits all 10" filter housings with flat seals, for example in all 10" reverse osmosis systems
    • also suitable for DP, 3P, 2P water filter housings from Atlas Filtri® with SX flat seal
    • Use these sediment filters in combination with 5µm and 1µm sediment filters for optimal filtration
    • The 1µm fine filter also serves as a membrane protection filter in reverse osmosis systems
