It measures the total dissolved solids (mobile ions, including minerals, salts, and metals) in a specific volume of water, expressed in mg per volume of water (mg/L), also known as particles per million (ppm).

Measure your tap water , mineral water, reverse osmosis water , aquarium water, rainwater, etc. Simply briefly immerse the TDS meter in the water, and an LED display will show you the exact conductivity in ppm. Reverse osmosis water or pure water has an optimal conductivity of approximately 10-20 ppm. As soon as the value exceeds 60 ppm is displayed, the filters in your reverse osmosis system should be replaced. For comparison: normal tap water has a conductivity of approximately 200-500 ppm and above. Test your drinking water and choose one of our reverse osmosis systems to optimize your tap water.
