Filtration

Removes virtually all contaminants and flavors, such as bacteria, germs, viruses, hormones, lead, arsenic, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, uranium, drug residues, limescale, and virtually all other contaminants. Only a TFC membrane can remove these contaminants from water.

For the 300 GPD side stream reverse osmosis membrane, a Flow 700 flow restrictor is recommended.

installation

• Please do not drop the membrane!
• Remove the 300 GPD Sidestream reverse osmosis membrane from the transparent protective film and grease all seals, including the seal on the membrane housing. We recommend Diamant Silicone Grease Type 1; it's white-transparent, non-toxic, and odorless, making it ideal for installation in drinking water applications.
• For easy installation, lift the membrane housing out of the membrane retaining clips if necessary and place it upright.
• Pay attention to the flow direction of the membrane. This can be identified by the arrow on the label.
• Now insert the 300 GPD Side Stream membrane slowly and carefully from above with the four rubber seals first, applying light pressure, into the housing until it stops.
• The membrane housing is now reattached to the retaining clips and the membrane housing cover is closed using the membrane key. Done!

storage

Reverse osmosis membranes, osmosis filters, and reverse osmosis membranes have a limited shelf life: approximately 6-12 months when stored at temperatures between +5°C and +15°C. Or, please order a new sidestream membrane immediately before replacing the membrane!
